“Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.”
Romans 12:12 (ESV)
This verse from Romans is my 2020 scripture.
When the Holy Spirit revealed it to me at the end of December, I had no idea how appropriate this verse would be for the coming year. Now that we are six months into quarantine, social distancing, and wearing masks, it’s easy to become anxious. Friends, there are days I wrestle with myself to not slide down into the pit of despair. What about you? How are you managing these ongoing days of quarantine, and wearing masks?
I’m intentionally trying to recognize and enjoy the small things in life. Living one day at a time and not focusing on what the future will or will not be. Doing so helps me be patient in this tribulation and rejoice in the hope we have because of Jesus Christ.
What are you doing to help you navigate these unchartered waters?
